Leatherman Charge Blade Question

I see where Leatherman is comming out with a new model "Charge", with a blade made of S30V steel. I have an older model "Charge" with a blade made of 154Cm. Is S30V that much better than 154CM. If so,why?

Holds and edge longer....yes, but I would stick with the 154CM, may not be as "fancy" as S30V but it can take more abuse without chipping.

Wait, are BOTH blades S30V or only the Plain Edge?

I believe it is just the plain edge blade that is 154CM and will be S30V.
