wanting either of these. like both, like charge with 154cm knife better, but juice is more pocket-able.

does scissors on charge open with handles closed up? or does it have to be open to get to the scissors?

mainly looking for a pocket tool, and that has easy scissor access

thanks!

The juice is certainly more pocketable. I'd say it is the equivalent of a medium to large SAK. The steel for the knives is decent. I own a Juice CS4 and it came incredibly sharp. It retained the sharpness for quite sometime and when I sharpened it, it went right back to being as razor sharp as it came. I believe with the charge you have to open up the handles in order to utilize the scissors which is not the case with any of the juices.

I have a jucie s2 its great! It fits in the little pocket on the right of your jeans. Plus it has all the tools you need, I use it all the time.

thanks guys. just looked at a juice s2 at target, nice little package. bidding on one at eBay now. few bucks cheaper than target, but if i loose i'm going to target... NO MORE WAITING!

I say check out your local Sams Club or on eBay for the limited edition Juice cs2. It combines all of the tools of the c2 and the s2 (basically, it adds a corkscrew to the s2 that you're looking to get). I think they retail in Sams Club for $25 and can be had on eBay for about the same, so it might even be cheaper than the s2. It's the same size as the s2 and c2, but you never know when you'll come across a lonely wine bottle.

I have the Charge Ti, and absolutely love it. I use it constantly, it seems to have all the tools I need for daily operation.

Of course, I'm no expert either....

If the LM you choose is going to be the only knife you'll be carrying, go with the Charge. You'll appreciate the 154CM, especially compared to the 420J on the other LMs. If you're going to carry it to compliment a regular folding knife, I'd go with the Juice. The inferior steel on the blade doesn't really matter if you never/rarely use it, and the Juice is far more pocketable than the Charge (even if you use the clip on the Charge).

I'd say a juice s2..I just bought my 2nd one from Target since I gave my 1st s2 to my dad. I have a LM wave but for my kind of work/lifestyle, the juice s2 fit perfectly

If you need more tools than the S2 has to offer, Leatherman also offers the Juice CS4, XE6, and Pro. These are slightly larger than the S2, they all have scissors, and they can all be pocketed if necessary. You may think these are too thick to pocket but I thought I might mention them. You can get a nice leather or plastic belt sheath for each for belt carry if you don't mind it.

I have a Charge and a C2. The Charge is for the workday in the field. The C2 is workday in the office. Every other knife that has been an EDC is now collecting dust. This includes a large and a small Sebenza. Plus the usual Benchmades and Spydercos. Alternating between these 2 does it all...
