I’ve had my second less than stellar situation with leatherman. First issue was a couple years ago I had a sidekick the flat blade screw driver broke unscrewing a loose hose clamps. (Craziest thing ever) I sent it in because they don’t send parts for customers to self repair. Well they fixed it and sharpened it but they sharpened the blade wrong and ruined it I asked for it to be repaired they Said they couldn’t but they’d replace the entire thing well then I sent it and they decided they wouldn’t replace it and sent it back...... they said the blade was abused.... yeah by them ! Anyway I thought I’d give them another chance. I bought a wave + feels well made but I wanted a pocket clip. I ordered one and it was supposed to be delivered a week ago tracking hasn’t updated in a week. The post office can’t locate it and all leatherman can say is wait till after the first of July. When I explained why I was upset and how I gave them a second chance and I expected them to at least make an effort to resolve this in a timely manner and they responded with “is there anything else I can help you with?” Completely ignored me and didn’t have any compassion. I am at the point where I am not proud to carry a leatherman I think the wave + is a quality product but damn I’ve had buck knives benchmade and kershaw all sent in for warranty they were all awesome great service ect. Idk what leathermans deal is! Very disappointing!
