Leatherman is a hell of a guy

Recently Leatherman answered an ad I had in the wanted section for Exotic Skins. He sent me several great patches free of charge for me to experiment with so I knew which skins I would be able to use best. I am very grateful and I want everyone to know what a great guy he is and how he went out of his way to help me on a new project I took on.

A nice guy, don't you believe it, its all an insidious plot by Dwayne to get you hooked on his sheaths! Next thing you know you'll be throwing away all of your production sheaths in order to get his leather creations! I've got knives that I'd just as soon sell, but won't get rid of them because of the Leatherman sheaths.

In all seriousness, Dwayne is a good friend and makes an outstanding sheath and will go out of his way to give a person a hand.

Not only did he sell me a chunk of good leather to play with, he also included all of the little needles, sinew, and odds and ends to help get me started with making things with leather.

Heck, he even emailed some photos and detailed desciptions showing me how to make certain things, shape them right, etc.

Of course I DID have to buy one of his finished peices so I knew what good leather work looked like.

Even then, he customized his own peice to fit my needs!

Dwayne has my respect and I'd do a deal with him anytime

Not to get off-subject, but do you make belts? If you do, please contact me to let me know what you'd charge for a plain black belt, 1.5 inches wide, and "double thick", in a size 42-44.
