Leatherman joy

Thats looks nice. I think that was one of the new multi tools from the shot show. I only saw pictures here on the forums though. I can't wait for the gerber gator jaws they introduced to come out. The price tag was kind of high for a multi tool, but I use them alot, and it may come down some after its been out for a while.
I think there was a review on that leatherman in the equipped to survive website or something like that. Do a search on the Shot show and one of the threads will give you a link. I think theys said the tool kit would work with it too.

Fix it right the first time, use Baling Wire !

Cool! I don't know what the Leatherman Pulse has to offer, but it looks like it was designed to take the place of the PST2? Do the Pulse's tools lock?

Yeah! Drop the chalupa...

Thanks everyone for the equiped site. Yes stompy they do lock !! I wanted something with sissors. I looked at the gerber but I dont like the tools nearly as much as the ones on leatherman. The sog was in the running but I just couldnt seem to drum up enough support for it from fellow forum members and that made me nervous. I had a supertool and loved it but it was a bit heavier than I need and I spend half my time in an office and sometimes a sissor would be handy. Especially on those dasterdly loose threads. I looked at the PSTII but none locking tools .. nah. I just bought a new super but will probably replace it when the pulse comes out. According to the equiped sight the new adapter will work with it.

Boriqua,

I like it! Can you tell us a little more about it? Is it more similar to the Wave in design or the Supertool? Does it seem as rugged as the Supertool? This is the first I've seen one.

Hoodoo

The low, hoarse purr of the whirling stone—the light-press’d blade,
Diffusing, dropping, sideways-darting, in tiny showers of gold,
Sparkles from the wheel.

I have been chasing details all over the net. It seems that it is basically a pstII with a funky locking system and some curves.SOoo it is lighter and about half inch shorter. Im so tiried of pulling my pants up. I found more cool pix at the equiped site. You should really check those out to. They have someone holding it which gives you a better feel for its size. I have played with the wave and prefer the supertool setup better. I know people swear by the wave but I like locking screw drivers and overall the super setup just seems more durable in its design and in the hand.
