Leatherman Micra

Leatherman has excellent customer service. I've sent several PSTs, Waves and Super Tools in the last few years and have received replacements. They have contact information on their website, http://www/leatherman.com
 
A good idea to get Leatherman to fix the scissors. I broke my standard Leatherman pliers and they replaced the whole unit although I was sorta attached to the old one. Great service. The Leatherman is definately yet another quality tool from the states.
 
Mine live in the bathroom as they are the best toe-nail clippers I have ever come across (eughhhh). But they definitely don't like the wet atmosphere, the tiny file especially is very prone to rust.
 
I've had my Micra for a few months now, on my keychain, and I'm delighted with it. Who would ever think that those scissors would come in so handy at times? I haven't had to sharpen mine yet, but with my Sharpmaker 204 I'm sure that won't be a problem.;)
 
I just recently spent a month on Guam visiting friends with only my trusty Micra with me and I'll tell you, it has quickly rose to my favorite pocket tool. I used it for everything from opening Corona's on a "boonie stomp", clipping cigars and cutting cable tie wraps. The scissors are just awesome and wicked sharp. My 204 or Gatco Tri-ceps should be able to touch them up when they get dull (at least I hope so)! -Rick
