I've had my Super Tool for about four years- using it almost daily at work. Messed up the wire cutters cutting some hard steel wire and broke the saw blade cutting some drywall.
Sent it back, letting them know I caused the damage and would pay for repairs. Got it back promptly and Whoa- I think they sent me a new one. I really wish I had marked the original. If it's not new, only the handles are original. No bill, no charge. Gee, if only Ford was as reputable- I've got a Taurus I'd love to send back. DaveAZ

I sent back a "lost" Leatherman that I found in the hold of the boat, some two years later. (Salt water is not kind... even to "stainless".)

They fixed what they could, replaced what had to be updated and polished up the whole mess! Total cost to me: My shipping to them!

Great service!!!

Michael
