Great picture! Where'd you find it? And yes, it looks like a great lightweight tool to me too!

Couple new pics of the CX version. It's to have carbon fiber handles and a 154CM blade.

I will definitely be picking up this new tool, although it may not replace my Wave as an everday carry mt.

Now just to handle them in person, to see whether or not I can justify the extra cost of the CX.

^_^_^

Leatherman's image library http://www.leathermanlibrary.comhas lots of photos of the Skeletool and Skeletool CX as well as photos of the Leatherman factory and some early prototype Leatherman tools.
Cool pics!
Finally a company that realises that with internet sales high quality pics sells product!
A lot of people are like me and don't have a knife shop nearby.
I do 99% of my buying online and the detail/quality of the pics can make or break a sale.
A lot of companies don't seem to get that.
The pics of the XE6 just nudged me into finally ordering one!
:)

I really like the look of the one with the 154cm blade. Will get the ordinary one though as the 154cm blade come part serrated only.

I'm with you.
Why do they always put the combo edge on the good blade steel!!!!

If Tim Leatherman is smart, he's reading these threads.
Ive never had a problem with the liner locks on my Waves.

Doesn't make sense to me either... Seems if you need to make a combo-edge it would make more sense to put it on the softer steel. I'm holding out (for now :p ) for a CX with plain edge. Don't know if it'll happen, but I can always hope :)
