Recommendation? Leatherman Surge blade replacement

Hello everyone,

I'm currently working on modding my surge and I was wondering if I could significantly benefit from a separated folder blade. I did the same for the small flat head screwdrive and I'm very happy with the result.

So my two question are;
Would you use a folder?
If so, what would you recommand? I like the slender profile and I need stainless.

Also, no back-lock. I'm totally close to that.

I think that's really just personal preference, I have seen many content with just a MT or Victorinox carry, while others prefer to carry a blade separately. I don't usually carry a heavy weight MT with me, but if I do, I'd probably skip the separate blade unless I need to use it constantly.

For folder choice, BM bugout is a pretty decent lightweight choice(if you don't mind the handle), otherwise Spyderco Para3 could also be a great EDC choice to accompany any MT/Victorinox as well.
