This is kind of a cool idea. Does anyone have one? If so, what do you think?

I have one. I've worn mine everyday since it came out in 2015. To be honest, I've only used it lightly but its great to have just in case. It adds so much functionality without adding anything to your pockets. The tools are solid. There's no hot spots while wearing it. The extra weight on your wrist took a little getting used to in the beginning. It is 5.9oz afterall. I brought it with me overseas several times where I did not bring a knife because of customs and knife laws. On those trips, I used the seatbelt cutter as a makeshift blade and thank God I had it. I definitely love it. It was worth every penny. Plus as a piece of man jewelry, its great. Gotten a good many compliments on it.

I always thought it was kind of a useless tool when comparing its price to functionality (given the length of a tool and general awkwardness of getting to it), but you make a good point on using it for travel purposes. Might have to look into one for that reason alone.

Quick edit: How hard have you used some of those bits and how well have they held up to that use?

Its been mostly light use. I have used all the Philips and flatheads in some way or another. Those work great. I've even used the flathead scrape. Used the 10mm box wrench (largest) to take out my car battery. I use the bottle opener plenty. Another use during my traveling was the use of the sim card tool. its nice to have one of those to insert foreign sim cards. Those are just some of the ways I've used em. As light use, emergency needs, they have held out. Ive never used the oxygen wrench, or the seatbelt cutter to cut seat belts, or the glass breaker but knowing I have them handy in my daily edc at little cost makes me feel better.

I've been thinking about getting one for awhile. I'm not a big jewelry guy, but I do like the idea of having a bunch of just-in-case tools at hand...well, next to hand;)

The price has really only been my big set back. I don't mind spending money on a tool. I plunked down quite a bit to buy my MUT. However, the Tread is just a little too much of a gimmick for my daily use.

If I traveled quite a bit, I would get one in a heartbeat. The only place I go frequently where a traditional multi-tool is frowned upon is the courthouse.

That said, if I had some spare money that I could just blow, the Treadway would probably be one of my splurges.

Seems like a nifty solution to a mostly non-existent problem but if I could get one at a reasonable price I would probably pull the trigger nonetheless.

I love the concept but after reading reviews, I am a bit skeptical. It appears the product was rushed. I hope LM addresses the issues because it has the potential to be a great tool that is easy to carry.
