Leatherman Wave Stainless or Black finish

I was considering buying the new Wave by Leatherman but cant decide on stainless or black oxide finish any suggestions?

get the stainless if you go in the woods its easier to find and when it gets a little older it looks better than when the black one starts to get all scratched all up i have 5 leathermans a little one with scissors two super tools and a charge ti and the wave all in stainless and titanium just my opinion

thanks; I was wondering how well the black oxide held up I've never had a tool with that coating.

The black oxide holds up fairly well, but it does show wear marks and scratches pretty easily. I happen to like a worn-out looking black Wave. But the non-oxide flavor will probably stay looking newer longer.
