Leatherman Wave

Hello folks, this is my first time posting here after hearing about your forums from cutlerylover's videos.
Anyway, I'm currently in the market for a bladeless mutlitool (I am a student in a school with very restrictive and strictly enforced rules on blades).

I've been looking at the Leatherman wave, I hear good things about LM. Any insight on it's quality? Do you guys have any other options for a decent quality bladeless multitool?
Preferably medium weight, something for pocket or pouch carry.

The LM-Fuse w/o knife blade is the only one I have heard of. And I never had any trouble with LM's quality.
Why would you recommend a wave lk3331? do you want to remove the blade?
