Leatherman Withdrawal!

I got my Boker Wharcom and I decided to try wearing it in my back pocket next to my wallet. I put my S2 flashlight on my keyring. I think I am okay now. Just have to use my Utilikey for screws and have my Leatherman Wave in my shoulder bag that I carry my lunch and books in. Now I just have to order a Trance for an EDC that I can leave in the truck during school.

Wharcom & a Juice, great combo my friend :)

That is a pretty good setup. I also agree with the other post about the SAK option. I work in a Government Office and I've managed to get to the point where its normal for me and a few other guys to have leathermans, swiss tools, SAK's etc. None of us are bold enough to whip out a big dedicated folder but the others generally seem to be accepted. The Micra is another good option if you really have to go bare minimum... lots of great tools in a tiny package and if anyone asks just tell them they are fodling scissors.

My mother works at a elementary school and ever since I can remember she has carried a sak in her purse and takes that with her to school. The other teachers would fuse about it sometimes if she would tell them or pull it out to use it, but would come back later and ask to borrow it because they either did not have the proper tools or their scissors wouldn't cut it (lol). A couple of years back her sak broke somehow and I bought her a new one at walmart, they somehow had a swisschamp discounted so I got her that and she has carried and used it ever since. My advise would be as others have said before, to put your leatherman either in your pocket or school bag and that should take care of your withdraws. I completely understand because I have almost always had a knife and anytime I don't I feel naked.

This is an easy one! Move to Utah and get a concealed carry permit. If you can keep it out of sight you can carry it! Your pay will be lower than just about anywhere else, but there are some fringe benefits. (Yes, in Utah concealed carry permits let you carry into any state-funded school).

Sorry Coyete, I'm a New Hampshire boy. Gotta stay here, in my blood. I did pick up a Gerber Clutch for 15 bucks and I have that on my keys now for a driver option. Has nice mini pliers too.

I have the set up now. I have my trance (which I completely love) for the truck. I have my Wharcom for my money clip and my Clutch on my keys with my leatherman led flashlight. I think I am good now. Thanks all. Now I just have to hide the rest of my knife collection from my wife.

Just bought a s2 juice off amazon. Don't tell my wife. Going to take the clutch off my keys, too hard to open the tools and I wanted a 3d phillips.

I carry a bunch of different tools including 2 Victorinox & 2 Leatherman tools - but I wouldn't jeopardise a job to do that. I'd probably keep the Wave in a bag in case I needed it and just get used to not carrying useful tools. Maybe once you are well established in the job you could try pushing the envelope a little and wear the Wave on your belt until you get told not to.
