Leatherman

I own a couple Leatherman's a wave and a skeletool.

The skeletool is my favorite because it's light and convenient but I don't like
it's interchanging screw bits, they come loose too easily.

I'd like to watch that program about the factory sometime, where did you see it? Sounds
interesting.

Anybody have to ever use their warranty? How did it work out?

Very well, I've used it 3 times. It generally takes 1-3 weeks, if the tool is new and still in production they will generally repair it and will provide whatever current production hardware is featured (i.e. they will change the 5-lobe bits to 6-lobes bits if the tool requires it). If the item is discontinued they may repair it but will often just replace it with a comparable item that is currently in production.

And save the stories, just send a little note with what is broken and they'll fix it. No explanation is required.

I just bought a Leatherman PST in near mint shape for 20.00 is this a good deal?
I'm new to MT's

Yes.
Newer models have superseded them, but they still have their fans, including my son, one of several guys I know who got theirs years ago when they were a new item and never considered anything else. The only thing lacking is scissors. If you need one (some folks don't), a Micra works great, also providing some other auxiliary tools, and plenty of them available from dealers in TSA confiscations, for sale on E--y for less than $10. With that on your keychain and a PST, you can experience great happiness. :)
