Many folks bemoan the perceived trend towards thicker, "overbuilt" knives.
They say you cannot do anything useful with them...except pry or demolish buildings or something weird like that.
So I thought, "Hey, I'm hungry...will this cleaver get me food?"
Let's see.
It does cut onions...not sliced deli-style, but cut nonetheless:
Bacon, straight from the freezer:
Being a man, I have better things to do than wait for food to thaw...I need bacon NOW!!!
The cleaver laughs at the frozen state of meat:
After the cut stuff is combined with perogies, it gets cooked.
Then the cheese is added:
The end result being dinner:
So what did this prove?
Nothing really...but it did taste good.
