I'm heading out for a quick hike and was wondering which knife I should bring,

my ontario TAK-1 or CS Master Hunter??

who cares...head to head competition...winner goes home...loser stays in the woods to learn the ways of the world...

TAk-1 = designed by very knowledgeable and very cool people.

Master Hunter = not. :p

Take the Master Hunter.... you can test rocks for use in flint and steel. The spines of all Cold Steel Carbon V knives throw great sparks...

... This is probably blasphemy to say on a blade forum... ahhhh... get over it guys!:jerkit:

oh come on now BJ....CS is the shiznit...it can cut cardboard and hanging meat and stab wood...and its on video...Rats dont show their knives being abused so i dont think rats are a real deal.....

:barf:just kidding

:D The CS Master Bate--uh, Hunter-- is not a bad knife. Many good CS blades. I just happen to be partial to defaulting in favor of those who have BTDT, know how to design a good knife, and happen to be good friends of mine, too!

Both....I carried two on my last hike so I'm sure you can do the same bro....gives us some comparrison pics that way !!!;)

I got a little worried my blade would rust, I dropped my tak-1 in the snow and couldn't seem to get it completely dry :\

Anywho had a great time, I'll upload pics when I get some time.
Tried the firebow method and have a 23second mpeg vid of it. was very hard, my hands were freezing. almost waxy red and burned a bit when they unthawed lulz.
