Lee Reeves Axe?

That's a good point and normally I'd be patient enough to wait. However, one of the auction axes was pretty unusual and attractive. I paid probably fifteen to thirty-five bucks more than Lee would charge for that haft material. An hour before the auction closed I dropped that amount on a sushi dinner, which is already history. So I wasn't feeling quite as thrifty as usual. I think I'll get fifteen to thirty-five dollars worth of enjoyment out of the axe over the next year so I don't feel too bad about the transaction.

Yep I think you got a Great Deal, Didnt pay to much over Lee's price's, And also got That Beauty "With No Wait !"

Picked it up at the PO today and Lee's work on this one is very nice. Both the woodwork and metalwork are very pretty. The bocote haft is quite well figured and the finish is fine. Bocote is some really hard wood. Sorry I don't have a digital camera or I'd post an image.
