Lee Reeves Belt Axe with Curly Maple Handle - new/stored (uncarried/unused)
A beautiful belt carry and a piece of art to boot!
This beautiful axe features a hand-forged head (4" x 2-1/2") and a premium Curly Maple handle. The head is forged in the manner traditional to blacksmiths since colonial times. The eye and poll are forged in 1018 mild steel, then the 1080 high-carbon steel bit is forge welded in. This gives a head with a malleable eye and poll with a hard cutting edge. Measures about 12" overall length. (leather sheath has a "faint drying mark" around the snap)
