Lee Valley Belt sanders

Hi everyone! just wondering if any of you uses a belt sander from Lee Valley to sharpen their knives? Are they any good? Also what is the difference between a 30'' belt and a 42'' ?
I'm looking for a belt sander in that price range, anywhere else I should look? (in Canada)

The belt sander from Lee-valley doesn't come with a motor, a 42" belt will last longer than a 30" belt.
