Leek 1660G10

After carrying mine for months it developed some bladeplay I haven't been able to fix by adjusting the pivot. This reminds me I need to send it in. I love the size, the s30v holds a nice edge, and the light weight makes it easy to carry. The G10 is slightly more aggressive than my other G10 knives and I like that. It's a great edc.

G10 Leek was my EDC for years. That one is a little beat up. As soon as I found out it was discontinued I grabbed another. Great steel, great handles- damn shame it's going away. If you want a limited production one keep an eye out for the 1660PGT. Polished G10 scales and polished S30V blade. Not as high traction buty pretty sexy.

WOW! That looks nice! I can't find one being sold anywhere.

I bought my 1660G10 for around $65 two months ago, and now they are going for at least $85 and up. For those that have been in the knife market for a while now, do we expect that the 1660G10 will only appreciate in value now that it has been discontinued?

Hopefully they make another G10 model in the near future.

Cant send you a PM, but the 1660PGT's are available at only one store. They are expensive though.

I stand corrected. I was mistaken on the model number although I am after a non-serrated Random Leek. After a quick search I found Random Leeks with the following model numbers: 1660T, and 1660TSW. Then slap on a set of the G-10 scales, that would be sweet

Correct, the Tanto models are as follows, with ST being the CE versions:

37. 1660TGRYST
38. 1660TCKT
39. 1660TCKTST
40. 1660TSW
41. 1660T

Just took some pics of my Tanto Leeks to show the differences :)

Man, that's a beaut!

Check ebay often and maybe you'll get lucky. Sometimes the vendors at gun/knife shows have old, unique stuff too! Sweet looking g-10.

I've heard some people complain about the G-10 on the newer g10 leek being too grippy - I've not had the same problem. It is sticky, but not that bad.
