Everyone,
I have a leek that I can't identify. I have looked through the leek thread at the top of the page, and I didn't see it. It is a green handle with a black blade. model number is 1660OLBLK

thanks,
Steven

Not too sure what you're looking for since you just identified it with the model #. Should be one of the 2 on the right in this pic:

As for the name, OL = olive green scales and BLK = black blade.

bfnewbie, have you thought about haw many different frankenleeks you could make. I think the composite blade would look good with OL handle.

it is the second one on the right. does anyone know about how many were made?

I think they were distributor / dealer exclusives but can't remember the details. I don't believe they were limited editions. Maybe Thomas will chime in if he spots this thread.

I have a couple of these and color combo is pretty cool.

Man I never realized how many different leek variations there were. Makes me think getting rid of my chrome snap on edition was a bad idea.

Yes...it has crossed my mind. I might end up doing some frankenleeks somewhat soon but first I am going to try and make some custom scales.

I agree, I like the darker colored scales with the black blade.

Yah I will snap a few pics, I sold it to a guy at work. My Snap On guy said he was only able to get two of them for his whole truck.
Interesting. I guess that's another to add to the list. If he ever wants to sell it, tell him I'm interested.
