I can't warm up to my Skyline either, I got it mainly coz of the hype but I frankly don't see it. Its a nice knife sure, but the leek beats it by a mile in terms of carry, size, aesthetic, deployment, and materials IMO plus the leek has a frame lock if you're into that.
I will say this though, I wouldn't catch my breath abusing the Skyline..... although I'd be wary if I did the same to any of my leeks.
