Been edc'ing the Leek the past week and it's become the go to knife which is
kinda how you know you have a good one, it's the one you always reach for, it's there and it cuts
things I like about my leek G10...
Size: Very good all around size, handle and blade
Steel: Very good S30V steel, takes an incredible edge!!!
Blade shape: Very good shape, for me at least, as I don't hunt but use the point more
often than not, quite handy, also, no annoying notch before the edge, it just cuts!
Opening Mech: Fast and effecient, touch of the flipper and off we go
Handle: shape, size, scale material, grippy but not overboard, works when wet, like me
things I'd like different
Lock: Only nit pic would be the thin liner lock, beef that up a tad and you're golden
I didn't list the bad grind of the initial bevel, as that seems to vary from knife to knife and
I may have gotten a fluke, no matter now, as I've reprofiled her down to a very good push
cutting type edge.
So if you guys/gals have been on the
edge of getting one, there's the nudge to push you in the
right direction, have at it!
