Leek -- Sandvik 13C26 -- 440A -- What gives?

Does anyone know what the blades are hardened to? I would assume around 64 HRc.

The Sandvik 13C26 HRC rating is 58-60 per the Kershaw catalog.

No one has ever done one before, and I don't know if it's different than 440A

Well, in a nutshell, it takes a finer edge(smaller carbides) then 440A and holds it's
edge a good bit longer. Edge retention would put it close to 440C.

My brand new Leek has a blade date of July 06, must have sat around for a while. Assume this is 440A. Anyone like to list what the difference of the two steels is?

No offense, but aren't the differences pretty much explained in some of the previous posts in this thread?
