Leek/Scallion New Colors!

Oh wow, that purple one looks amazing. I might have to pick one up when available. If only Kershaw would bring back the Random blade, that's my only Leek wish for the coming year.

I just cannot stop coming by this thread to check out these pics. The orange and purple Leeks are must haves as is that electric blue Scallion.

Wow, these are very nice. Do these handles have a "better" grip than the steel ones found on the 1660CB model? Love the knife, just wanting a little texture on the surface.

You should try the 1660G10 model. G-10 scales and S30V blade steel is always a good combination.

These have aluminum handles - exactly like the other colored leeks and scallions (red, blue, green, pink) that are out on the market now. It does make the knife a little thicker than the CB, and in my opinion has a slightly better grip.

Regarding release dates... Chester hit it right on. They'll be here when they get here. :)

I think you hit the nail on the head. I can't wait to get my hands on one (or two)

Is it possible to do a franken leek if the blade is from a frame lock version and the handle is a liner lock?

Howd I miss this thread for so long? Purple, YA! I knew purple was on its way but I didnt expect the orange, awesome.
