I just got my Leek, and it's so great! This knife is quite possibly the fastest knife I have ever seen, and definitely the fastest I have ever used. It came razor sharp, and ready to work! It is also the perfect fit for my pocket, and I don't even notice it when biking or running, or any time for that matter. And the best part is, it's there for when I need it.

It's a great little knife. I also find that I can carry the Leek without noticing it just about anytime (biking, running, etc).

I agree, it's a great knife!

Ken Onion is one of my favorite knife makers.
I find his designs to be excellent!

Ken Onion and Kershaw really did an outstanding job.
And for Kershaw to offer so many variations of the Leek is also commendable.

My favorite version is the Black Boron Leek, followed by the Rainbow Leek!

I bought one last week and it should come this week i the mail...can't wait.

I have an endura that I wear when in jeans and such but I wanted a nice thin smaller knife for when I'm at work at the office and wearing khaki's.

I might buy one for my wifre since they're so slim and such. Actually i'll probably get her a Scallion or Chive since she can't have a knife the same size as mine ;)

I have the plain steel leek with the 440A blade. I had a professional sharpener put a convex edge on the blade when I bought it. It's probably my second most carried blade. Disappears in the pocket, easy to open and close, and that blade is always super sharp. Normally I wouldn't be a fan of 440A, but my leek seems to take and hold a really nice edge. Sometimes I think we get a little caught up with the great blade steel race and forget that type of steel is only one factor that makes for a good knife.

I've been interested in getting a leek- especially after seeing it in S30V and G-10 handles

I was wondering if anyones had experience with the a.o. accidentally opening the knife in a pocket (safety off of course)?...

always seemed a bit of a hassle to switch the a.o. off then open the knife. not that it takes away from the fun of opening it of course...:D

Bedheadben, that will not be your last Leek, I promise. SOmething about the design is so addictive. I have 8 of them, ranging from the standard Leek like yours, to the ZDP Leek which I love. Being in outside sales and in front of customers all day, I usually carry the Boron or Black&Gold Leek. Check Out my Leeks in this thread :) :

I feel the same way...i've got a black/white one coming and I'm already eyeballing my next one....probably the G10 one.

What I really want is a random leek since i love the reverse tanto blade....i can't find them for sale though :( I am very jealous of the fact that you have two :p

I've had my leek open accidentally in my pocket - when I was carrying it loose at the bottom. It was a bit scary, to reach in there and feel an exposed knife edge. From then on I decided that AO's must be clipped to the pocket and not allowed to rattle around loose..

They were made for Chesapeake Knife & Tool in 2004. Hence the CK&T logo on the handle. It is a great knife, and I switched the blade on one of them with the G10 Leek. Check it out! : http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=427717

I love the RandomG! Great handle and great blade!

Its light and fast. The only knife I've had come open in my pocket is my Benchmade 530, but I was mostly to blame for that. But I love my leek, I'm looking at getting another one. The blade takes a great edge, and for the price and quailty it really can't be beat.

Never had my Leeks come open in my pocket as I always use the clip. I removed the safety from my EDC due to it being a bother. I prefer the SIG auto pistols for the same reason. You are the safety mechanism on any tool or piece of machinery.

Just yesterday I saw one for the first time in a store. I handled it and was instantly impressed. $54.99. I came home and today I nabbed one off eBay for half that amount (sorry, store). When it arrives, I have a feeling I may be carrying it instead of my small Sebenza, on some occasions anyway.
