It's been a while since I've posted in this area but am in need of ya'lls expertise. I set up my grinder about four months ago in Hawaii. It is in a covered area and also has a tarp to keep it from getting high wind rain on it. I haven't turned it on over the last two months. Here's what's going on when I try today. Yesterday the status light would be green then when I would turn it to 'start' the light would go orange and red as the Leeson motor would whine and slowly and sporadically ratchet in a turning motion. Today there is no whine, no turning, and the status light stays green. Seems like there is a disconnect between the motor and variable speed control or the motor is fried. Is this motor done from the humidity? Anything I can do to fix it or and suggestions? It is a Leeson motor with a KBAC NEMA 4x/ip65 VSC. The wires (for those with this setup) are connected T1/T7-WHITE, T2/T8-BLACK, T3/T9-RED, T4/T5/T6-N/A, and GREEN is grounded. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. Chris, not sure if this is your problem, but I've read of others having problems when their VFD is not used for awhile, In some cases much shorter time than the one year time stated in the manual. You have to recondition the BUS capacitors. Here is what the manual says:

Reconditioning the Bus Capacitors
–
If this drive has been in storage for over one year, it is
necessary to recondition the power supply bus capacitors. To recondition the bus capacitors, apply the
AC Line with the drive in the Stop Mode for a minimum of one hour. Not following this procedure will
cause the bus capacitors to fail.
