Left Hand XM-18

Well, Rick hasn't made a left handed version yet but you never know what the future may hold.

Not that I can afford one but I am a lefty and more times than not I get pissed because there is this knife I love high dollar or low dollar but non for lefties. Unfair world.

Daniel

What is a XM-18 anyway?? I think I saw one somewhere. I hope it is not as hyped up as Chris Reeve Knives. Oopps did I say that.

OK I retract. I looked at Ricks website and not cause of the truck running over the knive but because of the crossbolts or what ever the proper name it is that make the knife an open build looked like they could hold a tank much less a truck.

Does Rick make or is he going to make a lefthanded XM-18. Thankyou,

I wonder why it is that the only place I can find that they show both sides of the knife is Blade Headquarters or BladeHq.

Daniel

Is there a place on this forum that you can see the whole knife as I go looking??

Yeah, as a lefty I hate having to flip my knife around before I can open it! Granted, us lefties may only be 10% of the population, but it never hurts to have an ambi clip.

+1 on that Spark, its kind of slow to take it from your right pocket with the right hand. Then hand it off to your left hand for opening. Oh well all we can do is hope and wait. :(

I got a response back from hinderer. There are no plans for a run of lefty xm18's.

Death of a vision. :(

Adding another vote for a lefty Hinderer. I hope Rob and Rick are listening. What's up guys.

nativecajun,
I live in Nashville but I'm going to be in Chattanooga in two weeks I could bring some XM's for you to check out if you're interested.
They're customs, but still, it would give you a good feel for what all the hype is about. The customs are the same aside from the blade grind.
PM me if you're interested in checking some out.
Also, I have some Chris Reeves knives too if you want to reconsider them.

I would love a lefty XM-18. I just got my first XM-18 earlier this week and I'm very impressed, but I normally carry one of my 4 left-handed CRK folders and I'm now having to get used to a knife in my right pocket again. Luckily, I'm pretty ambidextrous so I can manipulate a knife fairly well with either hand.
