I keep looking at this? How much knuckle clearance does it have under the green burl?

Good morning, Lone_Wolfe. I don't have a hardness tester, but my HT process is to do 3 normalizing cycles in a HT oven (1600F, 1550F, 1500F) then quench at 1485F followed by 2 tempering cycles at 400F. According to my charts, this should give a hardness of 60-61 HRC.
As far as the grind angle, the bevel angle of the shinogi is ~ 5 degrees and the edge is ~ 15 degrees. I'll be honest, I was going for a full flat grind, but still have a slight dominance on my right side while grinding, which is why this ended up being a left-handed single grind.
