Left-handed SnG's

I can understand and appreciate that skill. Al King plays blues with a guitar strung righty and played lefty and devised some unique riffs that way.

I can understand and appreciate ambidexterity for knives used as self-protection tools.

As a general, happy-do-all-cutting tool, I'd imagine that other lefties would like to use left-handed SnGs instead of a right-handed SnG.

i do ketsugo, yes. we just call them clubs lol.

Gotta love ketsugo. My instructor told me that "ketsugo" is a term for Japanese-inspired eclectic cooking. Most of our ketsugo was Arnis Lanada, Lameco Eskrima, and Kalis Ilustrisimo. I think we also did the Wiggles dance, but don't remember.

There is some credence to the lefties learning to handle things in a right-hand world.

Jimi Hendrix's father taught him NOT to unstring and then re-string a guitar to play left-handed. That way, Jimi could play anywhere he was with anyone's guitar.

Look closely at the pictures, all of his guitars are right-handed, just played upside down.

I believe that Jimi played right handed guitars strung lefty..one of the issues with his tone is that the string tension is reversed,ie; low strings higher tension, it affects the overtones and subtle tonal differences. SRV used this idea with reverse headstocks and upside down tremelo bars. Albert King on the other hand played completely upside down and strung to something like Em. It's why his bends sound different.

I am lefty but play righty. I think it's more comfortable and puts the dexterity in my dominant hand.

The Lefty scissors in grade school were crap, dull round scissors( as if us lefties could'nt be trusted with the sharp stuff). So I compromise with scissors. My cutting chores, especially for detail work, are left handed tasks. I prefer it and have more control.

It is much easier for me to close a right handed knife with my left hand than vice versa.SO...when the gentlemen from San Marcos do a run of Left handed SnG's I'll pick one up. If it means I have to loiter in the parking lot to do I'll be happy to.

Happy Holidays everybody.

Couldn't have said it better.

Play guit. righty (but I play poorly)
Use scissors righty (run with them ambidextrously)
Shoot righty.
Whittle, craft, and part material lefty.
Write poorly lefty.
Write even worse righty.

So, were providence to provide me with a righty Paul Reed Smith guitar, that'd be fine, but were a righty-SnG to come into my possession, I'd be selling it.
