I have a question regarding Spydies for lefties. Are the Endura and the Delica the ONLY folding Spydies that are lefty-compatable that come in BOTH plain edge and fully serrated versions?

I'm a righty, but want to carry two knives of the same kind: a plain edge in my right pocket and a fully serrated one in my left pocket with a 'for lefties' clip configuration. (I believe the Goddard Lightweight has a lefty-compatable clip, but it doesn't come in fully serrated, does it?)

What I really want is the Military in both pockets. Does such an animal exist as a Military for lefties? If not, are the Endura and the Delica my only alternatives?

And has anyone else desired this same arrangement?

Thanks for your responses.

We need more models like this. You know a lot of rightys carry on their weak side, too.

Ray - Thanks for the link! I've always admired the Calypso Jr., but never got around to getting one! Now I know why! I was obviously (though unbeknownst to me) waiting for the new LTWT Calypso Jr.! Quite an attractive piece! I'll take two, please!

I carry a Matriarch on the left, and Military or Starmate on the right. When the Rolling Lock Military comes out, you'll get your wish.

Spyderco made a limited quantitiy of their stainless steel Police model; full serration, Gin-1 blade steel, and left handed. They also made (in limited quantities) a Bob Terzuola Jr; 50/50 edge type, ATS-34 steel, and left handed.

I have a very nice calypso with black micarta handles. Is a left handed version available? Also, are there left handed mariners with solid stainless handles (left handed serrations) fudo

Fudo - No left Calypso available. We did make Stainless Mariners that were true lefties, might be some around. We don't make them any more.

Sal,
How about a left handed Military or a Starmate? I carry a BM Axis (with an over hard blade that chips!)in my left pocket but I would prefer to have an upper end Spydie knife there.
Any of these in the works?

Misque - they are in the plans when we make the lock changes. Probabably not before early 2000.
