I Call her the "Left-Over Bowie" because she is assembled with materials left laying around the shop from other knife projects. 8 1/2" blade of 1075, oal 13". The blade is acid etched in ferric chloride and hand rubbed to 1500 grit, finished with 400grit strokes. The handle material is tiger maple from my class in NC. The guard is one that was designated for another knife, until, I ground it too thin. The ferrule is from a small piece of wrought iron, I found laying on the NC shop floor. One 1/8" copper pin holds the hidden tang in place.

Hope You Like
