Let me first state that I am not a lefty but I often hear the plight of the lefty and I am empathetic. I really don't know the ins and outs of tooling and set up but I have a suggestion...
First, background, an XM can be operated, that is to say opened and closed, with little to no difficulty using the left hand. The problem for lefties is the clip placement.
So, what if a titanium scale (replacing the G-10 side) could be manufactured and sold with two pocket clip filler tabs already in place. This would allow the end user to switch their existing clip to the other side in either a tip up or down configuration and switching that tab to where the clip was. Simple. Any interest?
