Lefty CQC 6 and other Lefty Customs

Hello Jackstraw,
Cooool knife.
In the words of Tamishigiri its DA KINE.
Lefty's like yours are rare. I have heard about them but that's the first one I have seen. Its really cool to get prizes like that.
I have the right side grind CQC-6. Old Emerson logo, old build, grind etc. It kinda' looks like your knife but mine was designed for a right hander.
I showed my knife to Ernie at a show and his reply was "Where did you get that?!"
Apparently it was a special order from a spec ops guy. He said that he made this one-time CQC-6 so long ago that he had forgotten about it. Yeah...I was beaming.

That's definitely a rarity, and a good score for any collection! I've seen a full dress 6 made lefty, but yours is the only tactical 6 lefty I'm aware of. Hey, with the halfmoon logo and aggressive grinds, its really a top-notch example of the knife Ernie once made that made him.
