I think many (well some) would be interested in a leftie forum. There is one on knife forums and most of the users there post on BladeForums as well. I tend to gravitate more toward BladeForums, just because it is easier to use and much more dynamic. The exchange forums here are much more active. How about it?

I dx'ed this idea last time because I didn't feel there would be enough people interested in it.

If 30 people post here that they would participate, I'll open one up.

i am a paying member..post alot on here and a LEFTY!
i support it..more of the finer knife makers should make more lefties or at least more ambi knives..it is actually disgusting and a shame.
LEFTIES BUY KNIVES TOO!

I would like to see a lefty forum here too!! knife forums is cool but i call this place my home i spend more time here than i do with my snakes ~~~ lets get something going

Count me in as well! Ever since my dream of hanging on the fringe of Major League baseball as a situational lefty was dashed, I've been looking for a left-handed outlet.

Seriously, a lefty forum would rock!

Kevin,

I'm a natural-born "Lefty", and I'll even volunteer to help moderate a "Lefty Forum" here if it becomes a reality.:).

Instead of overmoderating, we could have the members who post on that form be "left" to their own devices? Harharharharharhar :D

Spark,
I'd say forty views and seven replies in such a short time would indicate pretty significant interest. Besides, most lefties are to the right of center politically. As long as we're left to our own devices, we shouldn't go south on you.

Yup, us Leftys ARE a pretty smart bunch...But then we HAVE to be, in-order to survive and thrive in this right-hand world!.:).

I to am a lefty and support a lefty forum.I never miss an opportunity to whine about the lack of consideration from most manufacturers(not BM)towards us curry dukers.
Mike :D

I just finished 5 hours of converting righty knives to lefties and it would be nice to have a forum to talk about it. Lefties are in their right minds:-)

dekanblue....exactly what do you do when you convert one to a lefty? Do you convert the liner lock as well or just the thumbstuds and pocket clip?I'm thinking Buck/Striker or Mini-striker here.Email me with your rates etc.

Just another interested lefty checking in. I think a Lefty forum would be a step in the "right" direction!!! (I couldn't help it--Spark started it>>>LOL):D :D :D

The subject (Lefty Conversions)sound like a religious cult. Well maybe it is. I just wanted to thank all you who have emailed me for info on my newly born "Lefty Conversions". They are: Kershaw Boa (multicolor), Buck Strider Mini, CRKT-Tigne Tac, and Kershaw Avalance. These babys are ready for imediate distribution to the Left handed knife community. Thanks again.

Maybe THIS thread IS the "Lefty-Forum"...LOL!!

...Anyway, since I couldn't get UW Mitch to trade ANYTHING that I have for the "Lefty" REKAT Sifu that he HAD for sale, I had our Machinist Tech. Instructor at the College that I'm a Supervisor at drill and tap holes for the pocket-clip on the "other side" of the scale (AND into the liner) of one of my REKAT Sifus, and now I pretty much have a "Lefty" Sifu!.:).

Well guys, it does seem to be more active than the knife trowing forum. I gotta check out dekanblues stuff. If he could classily convert some William Henry stuff....:)

On the topic of William Henry, now that they have the Mattlock on their Icon we leftys can only hold our breath waiting to see what other knives they apply it to.Personally I would like their
Spearpoint with the Mattlock.Have we reached thirty posts yet?
Mike :D
