Wow Alan, that is awesome!
I'm usually not a tanto fan but that looks great.
Makes me wish I had cash and was a lefty lol.

I would love to see more in Elmax with that awesome blade finish from you.

Amazing work on this one.

Alan, please let me know if you ever make this in a right handed configuration. I love everything about this design of yours.

I am certain that I will make some of these in right handed versions and versions with other blade shapes. This was a custom order that I designed by what the customer wanted but at time of delivery had some recent setbacks. After spending many hours to make a design that works, I almost have to make more to justify it.

Well it's a beautiful design, Alan. You make some great stuff. What's the weight on it? Out of curiosity.

I really like this knife. Alan you make a very nice knife. My feeling is that soon you won't be able to buy a knife from you for love nor money. If this baby is still here next friday I may have to pull the trigger on this one.

OK...time to 'fess up. I am the person that asked Alan to make this knife. He was absolutely fantastic as we went through the process. Unfortunately when the knife was completed, we had a major emergency veterinary bill, as well as a major emergency dental bill. Alan is top class, first of the line, and just plain good folks! He was very understanding, and offered me many options to purchase before posting it for sale here. Thankfully, we were able to clear out the financial dross before any of you yahoos :) bought this blade. Payment has been made, and the shipping info has been received.

I can't reiterate strongly enough how wonderful Alan has been throughout this episode, and would absolutely recommend him to anybody looking for a custom blade.

Alan,
When I order the next one I will pay up front JIC...

Wow Steve you're a lucky man I came so close to pulling the trigger on that one. I contacted Alan and he put me on his list for a carved titanium with the rattle snake clip but a left handed one. How cool is that?

Scott,
Totally in agreement. The knife arrived yesterday, and the pics don't come close to doing it justice. Flipping it open is insanely smooth and easy, and it is as solid as a bank vault, with no blade play in any direction. Thanks Alan!
