An absolute stunner! Just a beautiful piece John....

I'm happy that The Knife has found an apt accommodating home such as only Roger can provide.
 
Wow, exceptional piece. I've always loved the dogbone style, and there are only a handful of makers that really nail it. Same can be said of a D-guard. But sedriously, a D-guard dogbone? And a take-down no less.... I'm amazed. I bow to thee!

It sure would be great to re-unite these for a group shot once on the series is complete.

Thanks again to Roger, for posting up Legacy #'s 1@2. We're planning for Coop to do a group shot, for sure, once all are done.

It's hard to explain just how enjoyable this project has become for me. Working with the owners, Brian and Joe, Coop, the case-makers, and several other folks, over a several year span, has moved this series into a different sphere, and it ain't over yet.

Blade was an opportunity to discuss #4 in depth with it's future owner.

And again, a thanks to Paul K., our own "bgspecialk" for setting this whole thing in motion.

Now to get started again.

All of these are amazing. The flow of #1 speaks to me on a visceral level. If I was going to hock my truck for a knife this would be the one.
