Can you tell me more about the grind, in particular the tip of the blade? I have to say these may be the best looking fixed blade customs I have seen. Thanks for sharing.

Absolutely!

The grind is a chisel grind. I cut in a hollow grind for the main bevel and remove a lot of steel so it cuts aggressively. The grind is a bit thinner behind the edge so cutting drag is almost non-existent. Along with high performance this also gives you tons of room for years of sharpening the knife.

The tip is a convex grind. This gives strength at the tip where you really need it. The top part of the convex adds a sort of swedge and slight distal taper while maintaining near full thickness where it is needed.

Because of the chisel grind this knife will plane when others will wedge. There is less metal where you don't need it and more where you do.

Damn dude!! Sucks that I'm tapped out or I'd be all over the digicam, my son LOVES that camo! That silver twill looks very classy-a true gentleman's knife. Nice work ( I know, compliments don't pay for diapers:D but that's all I've got at the moment:mad:)

The twill is even cooler in person and the camo is awesome! I have been wanting to use the digital camo for a while now and I am going to be using more.

Here you go elof... Sorry for the bad photo, but only got my phone at the moment. This is it being held 6inches from a bright spotlight trying to get a reflection off it. Really liking the stonewashed look.

Got my black and grey in the mail yesterday. Awesome knife, love the blade. Has a great feel in the hand. Just have to decide if I want to add a tek lock for belt carry or if it light enough for neck carry. This is my first Fairly blade, but it won't be the last!!
 
Congrats you guys,if my iPod hadn't died on me I'd of had the Tan one,but I needs my music at work to stay sane.
