Legality in New York

Does anyone know if it is legal to carry a Chris Reeve Green Beret 7'' on Long Island? Also, is it legal to carry a Benchmade Presidio 520sbk or would that be considered a gravity knife?

Carrying any knife with a 7 inch blade on Long Island is asking for trouble. In the least, the LEO will have a Chris Reeve Green Beret knife in his personel collection. I believe the Benchmade is O.K. as long as you are not breaking any laws.
