I posted it yesterday in a C&H thread here. That was nice of Jim to comment.
Dayum, way to step up your game, John!
Thanks Shel, slow but sure
After a bit of a nervous week of delayed delivery dates, she made it back from photigraphy. She went AWOL around Jersey for a few days with the Post Office She'll be on her way tomorrow.
Some parting shots to accompany the video.
I hope you wiped off your filthy fingerprints before shipping it.
Love the cowbell.
She's here, and I really can't put her down and stop fondling her!
I literally can't stop saying , "WOW!!!" So much so, my wife is getting annoyed with me.
This is an amazing knife, and I am humbled and proud to be her new owner! John really outdid himself this time, this one is truly an amazing piece! I don't have too many customs, but this one would be hard to top IMO. It's going to be difficult to bring myself to using this one, but I will. This is one that will be passed down, I do not ever intend to sell it. (Though if someone offered me one meeeeelion dollars, I might have to consider it... )
The weather is crap here today (raining all day), so I did the best I could to get some shots of the knife and the package contents in the natural light on the kitchen table. It's supposed to be nicer in a couple days, so I'll have to take some other pictures later on.
The cowbell is pretty cool too! This one is extra large, and I think this might just be the first Redmeadow necklace! It's funny, this actually reminds me a lot of an old necklace I used to wear when I was a kid. It's a small Walrus tusk, about 2" long, on a round leather cord, that my dad brought back for me from a trip to his uncle's place near Anchorage, AK. I still have it around somewhere, I'll get a photo of the two of them together when I get some better weather.
The only other thing I can say right now is, "THANK YOU SO MUCH JOHN!!!"
Glad it made it Jared and hope it serves you well!
Yeah. When my son first saw it, he was like, "Whoaaaaaa..."
Yeah, the PO was definitely making us nervous, lol. Thank you my friend!
My wife caught me gently stoking the handle of this knife tonight, and gave me a "look"...
What was her response to the cowbell?
<---This... Same as the first one, and the one I won and hung on the Christmas tree. And almost all my other knife-related things.
Some of us don't take hints very well. Just ask my ex wives.
Welcome to Bladeforums and the Redmeadow subforum.
Just out of curiosity, your profile says you’re a 23 year old. How many ex wives do you have?
A 23 YO female no less... It's a spammer profile, I'm near 100% sure of it. I reported the post.
ETA - Could also be a returning troll. Either way...
Yeah, odd random post is random....
@LYSITA are you real or are you Memorex?
Moar/betterer pics... (man, I really hate having to resize/downgrade these SO much now. The 1MB was SO much better. The fine detail in the originals gets completely lost. )
Great pics but you should be out bowieing things with that.
The first couple of backdrops I tried to use crumbled in fear....
