It really is Greg, a spring works good on guards that are square to the tang. This thing makes it easy when you have an angled guard and a curved tang.

Love the D Guard Bowie, the jig, the music, the WIP(s), and all that - just having a hard time with those hairy arms. Do you even sharpen brah? (ducks for cover)...

That big Bowie (kniv #2) looks big and bad, and really/really interesting, so I'd ask for second dibs on that one.

Back to the video for now. Watching it a few more times should help get the music stuck in my head.

I'm developing a spray-on arm and leg hair for knifemakers that want to remain anonymous, I call it "Secret Squirrel Spray". I'm modeling 'Tom Selleck Tuft' in that video, it's a bit dark for me but 'Chuck Norris Nap' was on the light side

... and my height has nothing to do with how I was handled as a baby - though come to think of it, I do have an exceptionally large head for a kid my size.
