leps

I got my LEP yesterday. I noticed 2 things right away. The color of the blade is a very dark OD. It's not the bright green in the pic in the store. The handle feels fatter then my black DC warden, so I measured it. It measures .665" in the center. My black DC measures .6". That's quite difference considering that the blade on the LEP is only .020" thicker. (The blade on my black warden measures .175")

I really like the handle on the LEP. It is surpising how much difference .065" makes.

I doubt it. The black warden in a bit loose in the leather sheath that I have and the LEP is a very tight fit. The blade would probably be a very tight fit in the kydex, but the handle on the LEP is much fatter.

I don't know if that makes sense.:confused: I'm confused myself. It's late.

IMHO, the LEP. The difference in blade thickness isn't much, but I find the handle of the LEP more comfortable.
 
My lep will go in my Okeden (sp) kydex sheath made for my Black GW. It is tight in the handle but would function and be very secure. The seath is actually slightly lose on the black GW, so may be thats why if will accept the lep.
