Les Condos de la Croix .

Naw....just a hurt so bad we still feel it today.
Mankind can do that. Still, the great library burning down several times is nothing compared to say, a nuclear detonation in any of our greatest modern cities.
I hope that doesn't happen.

Hi Kevin:

I've never heard of de-sanctifying a church.

How is it done and who do you get to do it?

As far as I know they just take out all the religious items and perform a ritual . I have been part of two conversions .The large one I spoke of and a smaller church with incredible woodwork in it .Aside from churches they are making condos out of gas stations , train stations and even buying private islands with no electricity or plumbing and installing it all from scratch . They built condos on this island so close to a bridge that the feds wanted them to tear down a multimillion dollar building . Debris from the bridge will sometimes fall on cars in the parking lot breaking windshields , There is one narrow road onto the island so if it becomes blocked for any reason you are not getting home or not leaving home . The road also leads onto a major highway where you can only go in one direction . If you want to travel in the opposite direction you have to travel half a mile to a traffic light and U_turn .

Thanks, Kevin.

De-sanctifying a church. How odd.

The house near the bridge was probably in jeapordy from all the murder weapons being thrown from the bridge and jumpers.

People wil buy anything it seems.

I've never been one of the dudes with any notion of profundity, but I can't help seeing a simple parallel here...

more condos mean more people, less churches mean less spirituality. More people with less spirituality...makes a person ponder what the future may hold....

Aint gotta like it, jus' gotta accept it I suppose...

An old acquaintance ended up living in a church thirty years ago when he went to buy the stained glass from the abandoned church, and they said..."for that money, here's the deed." They got out of the maintenance and he got the windows. He repairs and creates LARGE stained glass windows for churches and what-not.

He's still up there. A former hippy, who, when last I saw him, was SURE he had a system to beat blackjack dealers at the ndn casino.

doofus.

But very creative. Beautiful work.
