Recommendation? Les george VECP framelock vs Koenig Arius

It was the one that you had told me about on the bay I believe...The black one is a ZT 0909 and I lied about not owning a LG 6 months ago...I forgot I had the ZT for a couple years View attachment 2367551View attachment 2367552
Oh, that’s right. I forgot about that. I do a lot of spending of other people’s money. How do ya like that Talos?

Lol I can't keep track either and you're correct the Talos gives the MK3 a run for its money. It's definitely the most perfect feeling knife in your hand. It's perfect

I'm an unafraid Arius guy. (I have never owned or even handled an LG.) My Koenig Arius is one of my never sells. It has by far the smoothest action of any of my flippers (Hinderer, Grimsmo, and Shirogorov included) and is massively fun. I prefer the thumb hole to the flipper tab, but it's a blast either way. I have no grittyness in mine, and no detent lash on closing unless I really try. The detent for opening is fantastic. I got min on the secondary for $650, which is a better price in my mind. But I own exactly 4 knives worth over $400 apiece that are right handed. I'm a southpaw, so to buy and keep a knife that's not is a big deal and why I own over a dozen CRK folders. The 4 are a Koenig Arius, a Grimsmo Norseman, a Graham Shorty Rhino, and a SHF full-size.

The Arius is a really nice flipper with impeccable action and beautiful lines.

The Les George is an incredible using knife; really the best of a lot of high-end midtechs (great action especially for washers, a really useful blade shape, friendly ergonomics, carries well).

I have an Arius I bought to check out and every now and then I flip it and put it away. I don’t feel any need to buy multiples. I have three Geroges including two different versions of the same model which I rarely do and more designs by ZT and Spartan and I carry and use them a lot.

A fellow Les head? I’d like to check out ya Georges!

Too busy trying to sell theirs on the secondary market!😂

This was exactly my thought lol, it seemed like we used to see a lot more people hyping up the Koenigs, now I mostly see them in the exchange. Not to say they're bad knives, but when you can only get a knife at an inflated hype price it's going to fall out of favor.

I had an Arius, very well make and a nice folder. I like the blade profile overall, great hollow grind.
I feel they're somewhat overpriced (even if you can score one direct) but it's not to say I wouldn't try it again, possibly with some updates at some point.

These are two of my favorites and I'll probably still pickup another one at some point.

Beautiful tanto! Hold on to that one, he said he’s never doing tanto’s again.
