I would consider the VECP the first of the midtechs that started the "titanium framelock, blank slabs, high quality" midtech craze. This one is the V3 model with all of his most recent upgrades to the line. This knife has a CTS-XHP Black DLC blade, full titanium handles, SMOOTH (as in "sebenza smooth") bronze washer pivot and titanium back spacer. The bevelled edges all around this handle make if very comfortable in the hand. This one comes with an additional black DLC Les George clip ($60 value!). Edge is in great shape, nice and sharp, no dings or chips. Carried a few times, otherwise has just sat in a case.
