I would consider the VECP the first of the midtechs that started the "titanium framelock, blank slabs, high quality" midtech craze. This one is the V3 with all his most recent upgrades to the line. This knife has a CTS-XHP blade, full titanium handles, SMOOTH (as in "sebenza smooth") bronze washer pivot and titanium back spacer. The bevelled edges all around this handle make if very comfortable in the hand. This one comes with a steel flame Les George clip ($60 value!), a Les George titanium bead ($20 value!) and and extra bronzed pocket clip. Does not appear to have ever been sharpened, I have carried it once but not used it. No box as it did not come with one, but it will be packed up tightly inside a soft zipper pouch!
