Les Robertson's VANGUARD series

Les,

I thought Broadwell wasn't doing anymore tacticals? What you got in store for us?!! :)

I for one enjoy the Vanguard series of knives and I suspect that there are many many more. I didn't buy either of the two I have though as a collectible but because I like the maker and his style of knives. Of course with the makers who are doing these knives how could they NOT become collectable?

Your input on these knives, and the makers craftmanship, have given us some of the best and most useful knives available. I for one hope you keep it up> I also hope you talk J.W. Smith into doing another folder! :D

Thanks for the wealth of information.

carlchang those are great shots of two great knives. How do you like the talonite EDC? Does it cut well?

I agree with you that both of them are good knives. The talonite EDC is a big folder for edc, but it is nice for using the flipper to open the knife. With it's frame lock , it is very strong, too ! And yes, it cuts well . But you know that all of DDR's knives are not very sharp when you get them , so I have resharped it with my spyderco 204 . I think I will keep the two Vanguard knives in my personal collection , because they are really good knives!
Thanks , Les!:D
