I was searching through my onscreen guide to see if any upcoming shows looked good enough to record on tivo.

Apparantly Les Stroud is doing an interview on the show "The View" on January 19th (at least in Ohio). :eek:

Thought I'd let you guys know.

Isn't the view that show for women where they sit around and talk about
womens stuff? Why is Les going on that?
 
I almost Dont beleive you :D, no but there prolly going to go, "why are you doing that" "ewwww snakes? OMG A turtle" yeah, thats gonna be fun ( sarcastic)
 
Man, now you guys have me nervous. :( I have never watched the show so I don't know anything about it. I double checked my tivo and it is listing him as a guest.

I can fast forward through it and delete it if it sucks. :D
 
What do you want to bet they spend twenty minutes asking him why he doesn't get naked and do push-ups in his show like Bear Grylls?

Hell, Les doesn't even need to give a tutorial on how to start a fire... Rosie's got that part down already.

That was a good heads up on a topic or individual of possible interest, but...... as these guys have infered... it will likely be a puff piece and a hatchet job if its in that harpy roost.
 
guys this is a new episode material. This is harder than real survival. "he can survive the outdoors but can he survive a few yappy women". we shall see.
 
I hope he carries a substantial combat assault tactical knife. I'd lay odds they hit him for killing plants and animals. I'd watch but my gag reflex kicks in when I see Rosie O'beavereater.

Yes! Les is really going to be pushing the boundaries of human capabilities! I betcha a quarter he plays his harmonica at some point. If he pulls off an appearance on The View, I'd say bear would be hard-pressed to one-up that! Har har!
 
Slightly off topic, but Les plays a pretty mean harmonica.
I have never seen bears show, does he do his own camerawork?

Maybe it's the way they're gonna get rid of lardass, Les is gonna skin and gut her then show everybody how to make tallow from all that blubber then the audience will each get candles made out of rosie. :) I never understood why he did Ellen either it's like Les do some shows that guys watch cause those chick shows aint gonna up your rateings.
