Les Stroud is coming back

Thats good news. He deserves to have his show renewed. He does a good job.

Hooray! Some good news in a day that has been filled with crap waffles thus far! I look forward to Les' return.

From license plates to a suit of armour, submerse yourself, along-side Survivorman’s Les Stroud, as he guides viewers in taking an up close and personal look at the diets of the great white, mako, tiger, bull, lemon, hammerhead… well, let’s just say, a darn lot of sharks. Which shark has the strongest jaws; how often do they feed; and what, aside from Les, incites a shark to attack.

Not satisfied with just a special, Les hosts the entire Shark Week. From July 24 to August 4, with eight all-new programs airing at 9:00 p.m. ET/P! T that will give you more information on sharks then you ever knew or thought possible.

Survivorman – Season 2

The long awaited season of Survivorman is nearly upon us. From the rain forests of the Amazon, to the scorching heat of the Kalahari Desert, to the dog teams of Labrador, air times are now official, well, as official as broadcasters can be. Look for the new season to start on August 10th on Discovery and October 2nd on OLN.
 
That is good news! Once Bear Gryll's season ends we'll have someone else to kick around.
 
I heard the news too and was excited :eek:

Much more information and better "learning" to be had from him than Bear.

Bear knows what he's doing but doesn't really "TEACH" much.

I just finished watching survivorman in Utah caves. What a great show!
My son and I are going out to find wood to build a deadfall.

Which we saw him use to catch a chipmunk.
 
I know! :confused: I am paying extra money to get Discovery Science, mostly to get Survivorman..., and regular Discovery will be getting the new Survivorman episodes 5 days earlier than Science (August 10 in Discovery, August 15 on Science)

Really? Damn skippy, that's cool.:D
 
I really enjoy the show, Les seems like a good guy. I've seen him do some dumb stuff though, like cut his finger while using him multi tool, pinch his thumb trying to get a figure 4 set, and scrape a mag bar and ferro rod with the knife edge.
