Les Voorhies 7XL IKBS Flipper. I would call it mint condition, but I am not the original owner. This much I will tell you…I can’t find a mark on it and it is the smoothest, tightest folder I have ever held. Unfortunately, it is a bit large for me to EDC, and I’ve really taken my collection from collectibles to users only. The lockup is rock solid and very early. The flipping action requires ZERO wrist. The blade is hair popping sharp. Mine is just like this one from Mr. Voorhies’ site, except that mine has white micarta scales, bead blast Ti bolsters and blue anodized Ti liners. http://www.lesvoorhiesknives.com/available/flip16.html
Much as I hate to see it go, I would be better off with users that will see some pocket time. So, here’s a list of trades that I might consider:
DKW Sandshark with fish hook blade and new style pocket clip
Scarab Executive or inlaid Scarab SE must be tight with very little blade & button play
CMTX5 D/A with new sear
Dozier large folding hunter
Hinderer XM-18
G & G Hawk MUDD
DDR Robo Maxx 4”
WH B15 auto, ZDP-189
Larry Chew D/As
JB SS Cheyenne
Strider SMF w/ HLS prefer digicam
Two or three of the following autos…LUDT (pre ’06), TR3, Amphibian, Jackal, BM9100 or ??
Two or three of the following folders… Alias I, Amphibian, BM806D2, BM740, Kershaw ZT0500 MUDD or ??
Some combination of above?
I generally prefer serrations, but not a must. NIB is not a must.
If you have something interesting, try me. Email for actual photos.
Thanks!
